Rory McDiarmid is Deputy Head of the University of Strathclyde’s Recruitment & International Office, a service which encompasses international student recruitment, domestic student recruitment, student mobility (exchange, Erasmus, study abroad, and summer schools), and English language teaching. Rory has over 15 years’ experience in international higher education, with particular expertise in recruitment, admissions, and partnership development in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Panama, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. At Strathclyde, Rory leads a number of projects, including international undergraduate admissions and support, agent management, data analysis, and the future of student mobility.
