UCAS Conference 2024 - Access All Areas

Lynsey joined UCAS in 2020 as a relationships manager for colleges and alternative HE providers, then led on the transition from UCAS Teacher Training to DfE Apply, before becoming Head of Operations in 2022, with responsibility for teams delivering admissions, results, data collection, technical service delivery and digital learning. Since January 2025 she has been Director of Admissions, and works closely with universities and colleges on understanding and optimising the admissions system. 

Previously, she worked for over 20 years in the higher education sector, at five different universities. Most of this work has been in the admissions area, including managing undergraduate admissions at the universities of Birmingham and Warwick, and being Head of Admissions at the University of Sheffield. She has chaired the Russell Group Admissions Group and the UCAS Undergraduate Advisory Group, and been a member of the UCAS Council. Lynsey is a graduate of the universities of Warwick and Oxford.
