UCAS International Conference 2025

Jane Halstead is Education Manager for British Council Scotland, covering a portfolio of schools, colleges and higher education. Prior to joining the British Council in 2024, Jane led an education charity in Scotland, committed to providing opportunities for young people in Scotland to engage with language learning and global citizenship education.

Jane was born in Scotland and studied French and European Union studies at the University of Edinburgh, including time spent working in France as a British Council English Language Assistant.
