James Seymour is a student recruitment and admissions specialist with over 30 years’ HE sector experience. James is currently Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer at Lincoln Bishop University, formerly Bishop Grosseteste University.  James has also held senior Director level roles at a range of Universities including Aston, Gloucestershire, Buckingham and Northampton and worked for the Universities of Sheffield, Northumbria and Leeds in the 1990s. James is a regular speaker at student recruitment/admissions conferences and is an active member of the Cambridge OCR exam board Stakeholder Group. James was a secondary school governor from 2011-2023 (one UTC and two selective grammar schools). James has two sons, one in Year 12 and another in his second year at Cambridge University.  James also runs his own HE Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions consultancy supporting a wide range of organisations.
