Dave has fourteen years of experience working in disability support teams within higher education. After successfully completing a PGCE in Secondary Education (Music), he spent two years working in Widening Participation at Leeds Beckett University before moving into disability-focused support. As a Disability Advisor, Dave worked one-on-one with disabled students for over eight years, gaining valuable insight into the challenges faced by students transitioning from FE to HE. This experience inspired him to set up an autism-specific transition event for students, which has now been running successfully for over five years.
