Nick has led the admissions team at the University of Birmingham since 2020 and is a part of the wider External Relations directorate. The admissions team handle over 150,000 applications each year for undergraduate, postgraduate and online study for the University's campuses in Birmingham, Dubai and to its global partners. Nick graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in Microbiology and a PGCE in Secondary Science. Prior to joining Birmingham, he held numerous roles at the University of Warwick before joining the University of Southampton in 2013 as Associate Director for Admissions and Visa Compliance. Whilst at Southampton, he was elected as chair of the Russell Group Admissions Directors' Forum.
