Wendy Timperley has worked at the University of Manchester for 22 years, with the last 12 years spent within the Disability Advisory and Support Service (DASS). She is currently the Manager of the Service, having previously held roles as a Disability Advisor and Lead Disability Advisor.

In her role, Wendy oversees the delivery of specialist support for disabled students. The student experience sits at the heart of DASS, and Wendy’s team collaborates closely with academic departments, professional services, and external specialists to provide tailored adjustments and expert guidance. Their shared aim is to improve accessibility, remove barriers to learning, and ensure students can fully participate in and thrive throughout their university experience.
