Professor Sheryl Williams is a Professor of Engineering Education Technology in the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University. One of her recognised strengths is her proven ability to motivate and support both colleagues and students to achieve their goals through her insight and developmental approach within tailored workshops and keynote speaker sessions.

Professor Williams’s passion for innovative approaches across the entirety of the student journey is guaranteed to enthuse any audience. Her passion drives her inspirational engagement of students from outreach through their studies, at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. She has proven experience in establishing effective employability programmes within taught courses, generating course development to ensure the highest levels of relevance for employability, and within her workshops she seeks to share not only the benefits but the steps she knows achieve success.

From inspiring outreach encouraging young people from all backgrounds to see engineering as the exciting option for them, to achieving funding for progression projects and creating innovative technologies to support learning for all students, Professor Williams has significant experience which she shares to help colleagues develop their own individual teaching skills across all branches of engineering.
