Our innovative and flexible Liberal Arts BA enables you to create a degree programme that suits your own interests. Select from a wide range of options across the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and gain a wide- ranging qualification that will enhance your employability and provide an ideal platform for work or postgraduate study. A level - AAA
Must include grade A in any compulsory subjects for your choice of Major.
Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Access to HE Diploma - D: 36 credits M: 9 credits P: 0 credits
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Music at Distinction for applicants wishing to pursue a Music major.
Scottish Higher - ABB
Must be a combination of three Scottish Highers and two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.
Scottish Advanced Higher - AA
Must include grade A in any compulsory subjects for your choice of Major.
Must be combined with three Scottish Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 36 points
Must include grade 6 in Music Higher Level for applicants wishing to pursue a Music major. See 'Required subjects'.
36 points overall or an aggregate score of 18 from three Higher Levels.
Notes: The total point score of 36 includes TOK/EE.

Please note that Global Perspectives is not accepted by King’s as one of your Pre-U Principal subjects. Combinations of Pre-U principal subjects and other qualifications (such as A-levels) will be considered.
T Level - Not accepted
Required subjects:
For the Music major, A-level Music or Grade 6 Music Theory (through ABRSM examinations or equivalent). In addition, students with these qualifications wishing to pursue Music performance as a formal part of their studies and to receive individual tuition at the Royal Academy of Music will need to hold Grade 8 (ABRSM or equivalent) on their main instrument/voice by the end of their first year of study.
There are no subject requirements for all other majors. Second-year major subjects are selected after enrolment onto the programme.

All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
