Course summary
A Master of Laws (LLM) in International Energy Law is a postgraduate degree designed for law and non-law graduates to enhance their academic legal knowledge. This internationally recognised Master’s will give you the skills to progress in the energy law industry and can open up pathways to careers such as conservation and policy adviser, environmental agency policy maker, NGO, sustainability executive, corporate strategy, energy transition specialist, trading and shipping roles, oil and gas industries roles, and more.
Sustainable Energy Systems play a critical role in building a sustainable planet. This course focuses on the contemporary significant themes of international energy governance; sustainability of environment, social, economic dimensions; sustainable energy systems; energy efficiency, renewable energy; and energy access. You’ll explore the sources of international energy law including domestic laws, international treaties, energy contracts, international customs and practices, international institutions and organisations, along with international arbitrations and awards.
