Course overview
Our BA (Hons) Korean with Studies degree will teach you to master the Korean language. You will also explore the culture, politics, and global significance of the Asia Pacific region.
You will study the Korean language, becoming fluent in one of the key languages of the region. This will open up a variety of career options for you. No prior knowledge of the language is required.
The Asia Pacific region is a large part of the global economy. You'll understand why this region is so important to the global landscape. You'll delve into the region’s culture, history, politics and society.
You can also spend a year in South Korea through our study abroad programme. This will allow you to immerse yourself in Korean culture as part of your studies.

You’ll have the opportunity to spend a year abroad, where you can immerse yourself in Korean language and culture.

Our Ba (Hons) Korean Studies will prepare you for a wide range of careers in or connected to the Asia Pacific region. The main aim of this course is to become fluent in Korean. You'll also gain a thorough cultural understanding of the Asia Pacific. This expertise will provide you with a competitive advantage in the job market.
