Course summary

Lead your family business to the next level

The Masters of Family Managed Business (MFMB) is an innovative 12-month postgraduate programme designed to equip family business owners and entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and tools to address the challenges specific to their own family businesses.

With the help of case studies, discussions, debates and real-world tools, you will develop new approaches to decision-making and gain valuable insights into nurturing effective business and family relationships, developing long-term customers, maintaining ownership control, defining new business initiatives, and managing resources and conflict.

The family managed business programme gives you the opportunity to study in London, with immersion weeks in Dubai and Singapore, learn with experienced peers, experienced academic staff and industry leaders, and develop the techniques and frameworks needed to run your business internationally. While the programme imparts modern and global perspectives, it also addresses issues unique to family businesses grounded in culture, tradition and family beliefs

Entry requirements

You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply:

A minimum 2.1 honours degree* from a UK university or equivalent international academic qualification from a comparable international institution.
