About this course
The course introduces you to the fundamentals of the business ecosystem and the key aspects of financial decision-making in modern organisations. You’ll explore core areas of finance, its purpose in a business context, and how effective financial management supports organisational performance and growth. You’ll also examine the role of data in financial analysis and the impact of digital technologies shaping the finance sector.
You’ll build a strong foundation across all areas of business while developing specialist financial skills. This broad background in business and management will prepare you for a variety of graduate roles, with a focus on finance giving you a competitive advantage in fields such as financial analysis, banking, corporate finance and investment.
This course is offered with a Foundation Year in Business
The foundation year takes place the year before your degree. You will study at Kingston College and cover topics including professional skills, numerical concepts, business IT, marketing, customer care, and business law. Upon successful completion of this foundation year, you will progress to Year 1 of this degree.
Future Skills
Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability.
