You will complete a final, major project demonstrating these skills, which will include image production and the ability to work in a team. You will also develop your analytical skills and deeper understanding of video/film production – fully preparing you for a successful career in this exciting industry.

As part of this, you will have access to professional filmmaking equipment including: a custom-built film studio featuring two infinity coves, green and white, a range of editing software, professional cinema cameras, microphones, audio recorders, LED lighting, Tracks, cranes, sliders, and gimbals.

Assessment method

The types of assessment on the course are varied. You will experience formative assessment which is a fundamental part of your learning. This usually contributes to your learning through your ongoing feedback. It supports areas of achievement and suggests areas for improvement prior to summative assessment. Summative assessment is a more measured way of assessing your work and specifically helps to underline how the grade was achieved, this is also supported by grading criteria for each assessment.
