Course summary
Mathematics underpins all modern science and technology, and mathematicians are in high demand across a variety of fields.
University maths is about studying patterns in numbers, geometry and many other abstract concepts. It's also about applying those concepts in practical problem solving. Through this course, you will develop valuable skills for careers ranging from finance and IT to weather forecasting and engineering. On this course, you'll spend your third year at one of our continental European partners. You'll experience different language and cultures, preparing you for international careers.

Essential Subjects:
Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade A is essential for AAA offer. PLUS Further Mathematics (A Level or AS Level) at grade A is essential for AAB offer.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDD
We consider a range of BTEC qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications.
A Level in Mathematics (or equivalent qualification) at grade A is essential.

With 6 in Higher Level Mathematics.
WJEC Level 3 Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales - A - B
We will consider this qualification alongside or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications, as equivalent to one A Level.
Extended Project - B
If you achieve B or higher in the EPQ, you may be eligible for an alternative offer up to one A level grade (or equivalent) below our typical offer.
OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - DDD
We consider a range of OCR qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications.
A Level in Mathematics (or equivalent qualification) at grade A is essential.
T Level
