Most educators know exactly what's needed in their classroom or school. Walbrook's MA Education gives you the expertise to do something about it.
This master’s degree is for education professionals who need the skills and intellectual depth to contribute to educational change for future students. Whether you're moving into leadership, or building the skills to shape practice and policy, this programme gives you the intellectual foundation and research skills to be taken seriously in the rooms where decisions get made.
You'll examine education as a moral, philosophical, and relational practice. That means moving beyond “what works?” to ask: “what works here, in this context, and why?” You'll learn to read policy critically, understand how curricula are designed, and examine the ethical and political questions that sit beneath all decisions schools make. Our MA Education degree connects that foundation to global perspectives and professional development, so you can see your own practice in a much wider context.
Start any month from September 2026. Study full-time and graduate in 1 year, or choose part-time and progress module by module, 100% online. Flex between full-time and part-time learning, with support when you need it.
