Biotechnology involves harnessing organisms and biological processes to drive advancements in industry, societal well-being, and the environment. Research topics for this PhD are diverse and may include wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and the development and application of biocatalysis and biomass conversion to valuable products (biofuels, biopolymers, building blocks), as well as other aspects.
