The Pearson BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computing is a valuable qualification recognised by industry which allows you to develop your knowledge and skills in computing at a higher level.
The course forms the first year of the new higher technical qualifications (HNDs) in Applications Development or General Computing and can then lead to a BSc (Hons) degree or employment.
You will study a range of units including, programming, networking, professional practice, database design and development, security, project software and website design.
Students will benefit from our excellent cutting-edge computing facilities, small student groups and extremely supportive, industry-experienced teaching staff.
By completing this course, students will achieve an industry-recognised HNC, which will enhance career prospects and your employability.
