The BA in French Studies is delivered in three stages, each of which comprises one year of full-time study during which you will follow courses to the value of four units (one unit is equivalent to 30 national credits or 15 European credits). The programme provides progressive structures enabling you to develop increasingly specialised knowledge and understanding of key themes alongside core transferable skills.
We offer regular field trips and encourage our students to do fieldwork, so you can get the most out of the city and your study experience, giving you a competitive edge once you graduate.
Students can choose their area of interest and carry out research projects.
Methods of assessment include a variety of types of coursework, in-class presentations and research projects to name a few.
