Our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (with Foundation Year) is your pathway into the accounting profession. You'll combine academic learning with technical training.
Our foundation year will give you the academic skills you need to progress onto your degree. You will explore the current business climate and contemporary issues. You'll also learn about entrepreneurship and how to generate new business ideas.
You will learn key accounting skills. This includes how to manage business information. You'll learn to use spreadsheets and other data management software. You will be able to use this information to make business decisions.
After you successfully complete your foundation year, you'll progress onto the ACCA accredited BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance. When you graduate you’ll be able to work in audit, tax and accountancy, as well as financial functions in other businesses.

Our accounting and finance course with a foundation year can lead to a career in industry, commerce and the public sector as accountants or finance officers.
You can complete your ACCA professional qualification at the University on the MSc Accounting (ACCA).
