Course summary
Choose a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the University of Stirling, and we’ll equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to start a career in one of the most rewarding professions.
We’ll prepare you to teach across the whole curriculum and primary age range, and also enable you to develop a specialism in a particular area. You can choose from these subject specialisms:

Essential Subjects:
In addition we require one of A Level Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics or Physics.
GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature at grade C (or new level 4). GCSE Mathematics at Grade C (or new level 4)
Scottish Higher - ABBB
Essential Subjects:
To include one of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics or Physics.
Higher English at grade C and National 5 Mathematics (or Lifeskills Mathematics) at grade C or equivalent.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 30 points
Essential Subjects:
To include one of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics or Physics at Higher Level grade 5.
English at Higher Level grade 4 and Mathematics at Standard Level grade 4.
