Course summary

This BSc (Hons) Integrated Technologies Engineering is a level-6, final-year degree, ‘top-up’ award for students, particularly those already in the workplace, that arrive with either level-5 (HND, Diploma HE or Foundation Degree) qualifications, or alternatively significant work experience that evidences suitability for undertaking the final year of this degree, with or a mixture of both across mechanical, manufacturing, electrical and electronic, and digital technologies.
The programme develops critical and transformative graduates with understanding of, and intellect for the parameters of engineering industries, the application of
project management, and the ethos and skills for career-long professional development, complete within the context of technical knowledge, skill development and application across mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering and digital technologies.

Modules

The proposed modules are: Engineering Leadership and Management, Engineering Project Management, Professional Development in Engineering, Integrating Technologies for Contemporary and Future Engineering Sectors, Individual Engineering Project.

Assessment method

Assessment will be via coursework and practical assessments.

Applicants will require a level-5 (HND, Diploma HE or Foundation Degree) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical and Electronic or Digital Technologies.
