That’s why a great Human Resources (HR) department can have such a powerful impact.
This BA degree in Business and Human Resource Management with a Year in Industry will equip you with in-depth knowledge of HR management within the broader framework of key management disciplines. Offered by Norwich Business School (NBS) within the Faculty of Social Sciences at UEA, this degree will prepare you for a variety of roles in business, including general management, consultancy, and human resources. At UEA, we focus on evidence-based management. You’ll learn to pose questions and challenge assumptions, as well as how to use evidence to make your own decisions and back them up.
The course is designed to allow you flexibility in your studies while providing a clear focus on people management. People are widely regarded as a key source of competitive advantage in business. Through this course, you’ll explore why that is and how individuals can drive organisational transformation. You’ll also develop the skills to manage people effectively and have the chance to work with others on your course. Managing a ‘live’ HR project is just one experience which will enhance your CV and give you a competitive edge with employers. In your third year, you’ll spend 9-12 months on a work placement, gaining real-world skills and industry experience in an area of your choice,

Tuition fees increase annually for all students in subsequent years of study. Any fee increase is based on the fee for the year that you register. Home undergraduate fees, whose rates are regulated by the UK Government, will be amended in line with any alteration advised by the UK Government. Fees not regulated by the UK Government will increase by a maximum of 4% or RPI-X whichever is the higher. RPI-X is the Retail Prices Index excluding mortgage interest.
