Course summary

Have you ever wanted to create a fire-breathing dragon from your favourite video game? Or those cool-looking weapons from many of today's VR simulations? Combine your artistic talents with your love for video games and animation, and turn that creative combination into your dream career.

You will create 3D art for games played across multiple platforms and you'll build worlds that players want to lose themselves in. You’ll learn advanced-level industry-standard animation tools, such as autodesk 3Ds Max and Maya and the Adobe creative suite.

Our project based ‘creative studio’ approach provides a practically focussed approach to your education, through the engagement with authentic assessment activities that reflect industry practises. Many students use their final Major Project as a springboard into industry, creating award-winning projects, establishing their own business or making connections with industry professionals that have led to employment.

Closely supervised by our team of dedicated professionals, you will hone your skills and produce your own showreel to ensure that you are job-ready on graduation.
