Course summary
The International Management BSc degree course covers a range of modules including management disciplines and specialist fields including economics, sociology, accounting, finance, marketing, HRM and organisational behaviour. You will focus on emerging economies and how to operate within them.
Your third year is spent in an international context, either studying abroad at a partner institution or undertaking a placement in an organisation in the UK or overseas.
The international aspect is provided by King’s institutes and departments with a regional expertise through modules related to ‘emerging markets’, the political economy of East and South-East Asia, economic inequalities in emerging markets and others. Languages are studied with the King’s Language Centre and can include Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and more.

Must include grade A in at least one Humanities or Social Science subject.
Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels.

If you are taking linear A-levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all Science subjects. This is with the exception of private candidates who are unable to take the practical component.
We do not consider the EPQ at any point of the assessment process.

Access to Social Sciences/Humanities Diploma must be 60 credits in total (or similar subject), including significant study of a humanities/social science subject.

Must be a combination of three Scottish Highers and two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.
Scottish Advanced Higher - AA
Must be combined with three Scottish Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject. Also required: Mathematics and a Modern Foreign Language at Standard Credit Grade 1 or 2/ Intermediate 2/National 5 (if not offered at Higher/Advanced Higher).
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 38 points
38 points overall or an aggregate score of 19 from three Higher Levels. Must include grade 6 in a Higher Level Humanities or Social Science subject (excluding Modern Languages).
Notes: The total point score of 38 includes TOK/EE.
GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics requirement can be met via Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation achieved at Standard Level/Higher Level grade 2 or Middle Years Mathematics grade 5.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) - H1, H1, H1, H2, H2, H2
At least one humanities or social science subject H2.
Leaving Certificate - Ordinary Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) - Not accepted

Must include at least one humanities or social science subject.
Please note that Global Perspectives is not accepted by King’s as one of your Pre-U Principal subjects.

All applicants must obtain or have obtained grade 6 or B in both GCSE Mathematics and a GCSE in a Modern Foreign Language

Required subjects: At least one Humanities or Social Science subject. Plus GCSE Mathematics and a GCSE in a Modern Foreign Language at grade 6/B (or equivalent).

All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
