The Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation program equips students with essential practical knowledge and skills needed to assist sports professionals in strength, conditioning, and therapy treatments. It covers diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries from sports and physical activities. Students must complete 400+ supervised placement hours under registered healthcare professionals and become SST members.

The Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation course is designed to empower students with essential practical knowledge and skills crucial for supporting the
strength, conditioning, and therapy needs of sports professionals. This comprehensive programme delves deep into diagnosing, treating, and
rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries stemming from sports and physical activities.

as dynamic platforms where Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation students collaborate closely with coaches and trained therapists. This collaboration

Through workshops, external speakers, and placement opportunities, students gain invaluable insights and practical exposure. This direct
interaction with industry professionals enhances their understanding and hones their skills, making them industry-ready upon graduation.
As part of our commitment to professional development, students become esteemed members of the Society of Sports Therapists (SST). They
are guided through a minimum of 400 placement hours, meticulously supervised by registered healthcare professionals. This hands-on
experience is vital, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real clinical settings, preparing them for a successful career in sports
rehabilitation.

This can be achieved from a variety of qualifications including A Levels, Diploma's, Access To HE and Scottish Highers. GSCE requirements: GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4
