Course summary

Gain the skills to succeed in a fast-moving global economy with our BSc International Business and Management degree.

This flexible course, taught by experts from Henley Business School, provides you with a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of business management in an international context.

You’ll explore different areas of international business, including:

  • firms in the global economy

  • international corporate strategy

  • comparative international management

  • cross-cultural marketing

  • international human resource management.

You’ll also study the core disciplines that underpin business – including economics, psychology and sociology – and examine concepts such as:

  • organisational behaviour

  • operations

  • entrepreneurship

  • data analytics

  • accounting.

Throughout your studies, you will:

  • explore the interdisciplinary nature of business

  • apply the skills and knowledge you learn to current business problems

  • study the emerging challenges facing global markets.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDD

The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma cannot be accepted on its own to cover the Maths subject requirement. AS/A-level Mathematics at grade B or A-level Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics at grade B is also required.

Access to HE Diploma - D: 30 credits M: 15 credits

Distinction in at least 12 level 3 units in either Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Statistics

Scottish Higher - AABBB

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Statistics at grade B.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Certificate (first teaching from September 2016) - Not accepted

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 32 points

Extended Project - B

In recognition of the excellent preparation that the Extended Project Qualification provides to students for University study, we now include achievement in the EPQ as part of a formal offer.  Eligible applicants would receive two offers,  our usual offer plus an alternative offer of a B in the EPQ and one grade lower in their A level subjects

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) - H2, H3, H3, H3, H3

H3 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Statistics.

Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal - D3, M2, M2

M2 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Statistics.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

GCSE English at grade C (or 4). GCSE Mathematics at grade 6 (or B) if Mathematics not taken at AS or A-Level.

OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - DDD

The OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma cannot be accepted on its own to cover the Maths subject requirement. AS/A-level Mathematics at grade B or A-level Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics at grade B is also required.

OCR Cambridge Technical Certificate - Not accepted

AQA Certificate in Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) - Not accepted
