The information listed in this section is an overview of the academic content of the programme that will take the form of either core or option modules. Modules are designated as core or option in accordance with professional body requirements and internal academic framework review, so may be subject to change.
You will learn through a mix of interactive lectures, seminars, workshops, group discussions, and case studies, supported by Wrexham University’s Active Learning Framework (ALF). This combines face-to-face teaching with flexible online learning, including short, recorded lectures, digital resources, and one-to-one tutor support.
As you progress, teaching will increasingly focus on applying theory to real-world business challenges, including live consultancy projects and optional placements.
Assessment is designed to reflect real business tasks and develop your employability skills. Instead of relying heavily on exams, you will be assessed through a variety of coursework methods, including:
Essays and business reports
Case study analyses
Group projects and presentations
Portfolios and reflective assignments
Live consultancy project (final year)
Formative feedback is built into the programme, so you will receive guidance on your progress before final assessments. By the end of your degree, you will have a portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to think critically, solve problems, and apply business knowledge in practice.
