The Foundation Degree Creative Arts with Media Production is a hands-on course for students who want to create engaging digital content and develop practical production skills across a range of media platforms. The course focused on real-world media making, helping you build confidence from the ground up while developing a strong understanding of how ideas are planned, produced and refined for audiences.
At Level 4, you’ll develop essential digital and production skills, learning how to create short-form content and visual media while exploring the tools, techniques and workflows used across the industry. As you progress to Level 5, you’ll take on more ambitious projects, working in studio and location settings and developing advanced storytelling and post-production skills.
The course culminates in a Final Major Project, where you’ll bring together everything you’ve learned to produce a substantial piece of media work that reflects your creative interests and career ambitions. Throughout the programme, you’ll work on practical projects designed to mirror industry practice, preparing you for progression into further study or employment in the creative and media industries.
Level 4 Modules:
Foundations of Digital Media Practice
Media Production Fundamentals
Short-Form Media, Online Content & Visual Messaging
Level 5 Modules:
