Train to teach and inspire the next generation with a BA (Hons) Primary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University. This undergraduate degree leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), preparing you to become a qualified and confident primary school teacher.

As the only undergraduate teacher training provider in Kent, we offer a supportive community, expert tutors, and strong partnerships with local schools. You'll combine hands-on classroom experience with theory, gaining the knowledge and ability to become a highly skilled teaching professional.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

Home (UK) Fees:
Home (UK) tuition fees for standard undergraduate degree and PGCE courses at Canterbury Christ Church University are currently set in line with the maximum tuition fee cap set by the UK Government.
Canterbury Christ Church University expects the 2026/27 tuition fees for standard undergraduate degrees (excluding Foundation Year 0) and PGCE courses for Home students, to be set at the maximum tuition fee cap, currently £9,535. However, this is subject to any changes to the maximum tuition fee cap, or any other changes to regulated undergraduate tuition fees, that might be subsequently approved by Parliament for the 2026/27 academic year.

International Tuition Fees (including EU fees):
Undergraduate tuition fees for International students are not subject to the Government’s regulations on maximum tuition fees.
