The University of Northampton (UON) Fund

f you are commencing a full-time undergraduate course in 2025/26 and will be a UK (Home) student within a relevant postcode area*. The University of Northampton (UON) Fund offers additional support in your level 6 year of study (this will usually be in your final year of study).

**In the first year of your course, you will receive the benefits package of either a laptop, catering credit or £500 accommodation discount.**

The UON Fund is automatically assessed. You do not need to apply separately for a fund assessment.
Payments made from this fund do not have to be repaid. It will not affect payment of your maintenance loans.

If eligible, you will receive an automatic payment of £500 in your level 6 year of study – this payment will be made based on your course start date as follows:

• September start – Payment will be made in March
• January start – Payment will be made in July
• April start – Payment will be made in November
