Aberdeen Global Scholarship - Undergraduate and PGDE

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to offer new self-funded international on-campus undergraduate students starting in Academic Years 26/27 a £6,000 scholarship for every year of their programme.

The University of Aberdeen is keen to welcome talented students from all over the world. To help students fulfil their academic ambitions and ease the costs associated with studying abroad, the University is pleased to offer the Aberdeen Global Scholarship worth £6,000 for every year of their programme. The scholarship is available to all self-funded full-time on campus undergraduate students classified as international fee status and starting their studies in in Academic Years 26/27. The scholarship is in the form of a partial tuition fee waiver; the £6,000 scholarship amount will be deducted from your tuition fees.

To be eligible students must be registering for a full-time on campus program and cannot be fully sponsored or in receipt of fully funded external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships, except for awards granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust. Please note that the scholarship does not apply to the DPLP, Dentistry or Medicine.

This scholarship is for new students starting in academic year 2026/27 only. Continuing undergraduate students will remain on the scholarship they were awarded when they started their studies.

Application Procedure

Please note that you do not need to apply separately for this scholarship. Your application for study will be automatically checked for eligibility for the scholarship when you apply. All eligible students will receive the scholarship as a fee discount, and your scholarship will be included in your Offer on UCAS and in your Certificate of Acceptance to Study (CAS) letter for your visa.

There is no specific deadline to apply for this scholarship, as no separate application is required. However, international students must meet the standard application deadline for courses starting in 2026, which is 30th June 2026, prior to entering Clearing. However, please check that you have firmly accepted an unconditional offer of study with us and that you have sent us confirmation of your self-funding arrangements.
