Young Adult Carer Bursary

The Young Adult Carer bursary aims to support students who are caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend with an illness or disability, mental health condition or an addiction

The Young Adult Carer Bursary is a payment of £750 available for undergraduate students under the age of 26 with a ‘Home’ fee status who are recognised by the University of Hertfordshire as ‘Young Adult Carers’, confirmed using evidence from a third party of their caring responsibility. The bursary is available each year of an undergraduate degree. Bursary funds are provided to help with the additional costs associated with studying full-time including food, travel, bills, and study materials.
