The Kingston Bursary

Scholarship information

The Kingston Bursary is worth £2,000 (in the first year of study) to eligible 'home' fee-status students who start an undergraduate course at Kingston University in September 2025. There are at least 500 Kingston Bursaries available.

Students in receipt of the Kingston Bursary, who have fully enrolled and meet ongoing attendance requirements, will receive this as a payment in three instalments. The bursary will be paid into the UK bank account you have registered with Student Finance.

To be eligible for the bursary, you must meet all the criteria below:

  • You must be a home fee-status student with a tuition fee of £9,535
  • You must have firmly accepted an offer from Kingston University for an undergraduate course
  • You must be starting Year 1 of your undergraduate course in September 2025 (Foundation Year 0 or 'top-up' students are not eligible)
  • You must not be studying on a course eligible for the NHS Learning Support Fund (Nursing or Midwifery courses). If studying one of these courses, please ensure you apply for the Learning Support Fund from the NHS
  • You must have a household income of £25,000 or less, assessed by Student Finance England or Student Finance Wales
