New undergraduate or postgraduate students with low household income can apply for financial assistance towards equipment to support online learning.
Undergraduate or Postgraduate students with low household income can apply for financial assistance of up to £300 towards equipment to support electronic learning.
The University of Greenwich wishes to support students from low income families who have no or limited access to IT equipment or an internet connection in order for them to undertake their studies. The Digital Access Bursary is funded by our Greenwich Hardship Fund and there are a capped number of awards.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for the Digital Access Bursary you will need to meet the following criteria.
You must also consent to share information with the University to verify your entitlement to the Digital Access Bursary.

2025/26 applications are now closed.
Unfortunately, the 2025/26 Greenwich Hardship Fund (GHF) and all supporting bursaries (Commuter Bursary, Digital Access Bursary and Energy Bill Support) closed at 16:00pm on Friday 23rd January 2026.
Funding was allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and all available funds have been exhausted. Therefore, no further applications will be considered.
