International Sports Student Postgraduate Bursary

We are looking for postgraduate students athletes who can add value to our performance programmes, and compete for Loughborough University in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition.

Our International Sports Student Postgraduate Bursary is a 40% reduction in tuition fees (set against the tuition fees of your chosen postgraduate taught programme ONLY). The bursaries are for those competing at a high level in sport, are funded by Loughborough University and are for self-funding students.

The standard for the award of bursaries is high, and the selection panel will be looking for the very highest academic and sporting achievers, so do ensure that your application is clear, and reflects your academic abilities, sporting achievements and motivation.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2026. All applications will be reviewed after this date, and you will be contacted directly regarding the outcome. Please don't apply too early and lose an opportunity to tell us about your most recent achievements!
