UAL International Postgraduate £10,000 Scholarships

Scholarship information

This scholarship provides a £10,000 tuition fee waiver for a full-time or part-time taught master's course at one of UAL's Colleges and Institutes. Up to 288 UAL International Postgraduate £10,000 Scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year.

Eligibility 

Criteria 1: You must hold an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught master's course at one of UAL's Colleges and Institutes starting in 2026/27. 

  • Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes or MSc qualification and be offered at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes. Courses run by UAL Online are not eligible for this scholarship. 
  • You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK. 

Criteria 2: You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status.

Criteria 3: You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

Criteria 4: You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application.

How to apply

You will need to hold an offer for your postgraduate course before applying to the International Postgraduate Scholarship.

If you submit a scholarship application, we will email you by the following dates to let you know if you have been successful:

These deadlines align with our postgraduate application rounds, and you must apply within the same round that your offer is made. If you have applied for a course starting in autumn 2026 in Round 1, you will need to submit your scholarship application by the Round 1 deadline of Friday 27 March. We recommend you apply for your chosen course(s) in Round 1, in order to receive an earlier decision from us. If you're applying for a course in Round 2, please do so before the Round 2 course application deadline on 18 March 2026 to ensure you receive your course offer before the Postgraduate International Scholarship Round 2 deadline of Friday 26 June 2026.

Applications can be submitted until 11.59pm (UK time) on the dates above. We are not able to accept late or incomplete applications from students who have not yet received a course offer. If your scholarship application in Round 1 is unsuccessful, it will not be possible to be considered again in Round 2.
