Partner School and College Scholarship - GREat Skills

Scholarship information

We’re all about GREat Skills! If students participate in our outreach activities before joining us at the university, they could be eligible for a scholarship worth £2,000.

We want to reward students from the schools and colleges we work with who prepare well for university by developing their independent learning and study skills before they start with us.

If students participate in a minimum of 4 of our outreach activities during their A Level/Level 3 studies and will be joining us for their undergraduate studies in September 2026, they may be eligible for a substantial cash scholarship of £2,000.

This will be paid to students in three instalments during their first year.

  • Students will need to be studying at one of our targeted schools and colleges.
  • Students need to be studying level 3 qualifications (A level, BTEC Level 3, T Levels, Access, IB or any other Level 3 qualifications) which hold UCAS points and will be receiving their final results in the Summer 2026.
  • Students need to have received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course (including extended programmes) at our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (excluding the Medway School of Pharmacy), which commences in September 2026.

How to Apply

This scholarship will be awarded automatically based on the above criteria. You will receive correspondence confirming your award by Friday 29 May 2026.

Where a large number of students are eligible, priority will be given to those from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education e.g., POLAR4 Q1 (areas of low participation) and IMD Q1 (a measure of multiple deprivation), both of which are identified by postcode. Where there are more eligible students from POLAR4 Q1 and IMD Q1 backgrounds than scholarships, students will be asked to apply. We reserve the right to change this criteria subject to guidance from the OfS.

Please note the above information may be subject to change for 2026 entry. Please check our GREAT skills scholarship or contact us via our Enquiry Form for further updates.
