The Stoneygate Award Programme 2026

Scholarship information

The Stoneygate Award is open to offer holders starting a full-time undergraduate degree in September 2026. Each award is worth £3,250 for each year of the three-year taught undergraduate degree (excluding any placement year) and will be paid in termly instalments.

Thanks to the generosity of The Stoneygate Trust, the programme will support up to three talented students with exceptional academic potential who need help with meeting the costs of studying at university.

The Stoneygate Award Programme is competitive, and applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply applicants must:

  • have been offered a place on a full-time undergraduate course for September 2026;
  • be predicted to, or have already achieved 128 UCAS Tariff points from Level 3 qualifications) *;
  • have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years;
  • be classed as a Home student for tuition fee purposes; and
  • meet at least one of the following: a) coming from a household income of less than £27,500 per annum** b) be first in their family to attend university c) care experienced, d) previously been eligible for free school meals;
  • demonstrate an ambition/drive and to make the most of their university experience and go on to make a real impact beyond in their chosen career path whatever that may be.

* mitigating circumstances may be considered where grades are not met
