Diagnostic Assessment Bursary
Scholarship information
Students with Dyslexia or other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) can access a range of support and equipment during their time at University.
If you have dyslexia, another specific learning difficulty or disability, and do not have a support plan in place, please complete the Disability Advice and Support Pathway. (If you are studying at one of our partner colleges, please contact your college).
Please note: The University does not provide diagnostic services in relation to ADhD, Autism or other mental health, sensory or physical disabilities. We recommend that you discuss such concerns with your GP in the first instance and seek an appropriate NHS referral. If you are an adult and think you are autistic, but don’t have a diagnosis, the Integrated Autism Service may be able to offer you a diagnostic assessment.

Enrolled USW students studying a minimum of 60 credits who require a full assessment, may be eligible to receive an assessment funded via our Diagnostic Testing Bursary (Bursary funding is limited and assistance with assessment fees is not guaranteed).
If appropriate a referral will be made to our partner PAM Wellness, who will contact you to arrange a full assessment.
