University of StrathclydeFaculty of Humanities and Social SciencesI am currently studying towards a PhD in History focusing on food culture as an expression of identity in diaspora communities in the UK. I hope to move in to teaching after that though I am also interested in getting involved in areas of social policy so am keen to see where my project takes me. Before returning to education I worked for over 10 years in the sales environment selling a range of products to both public and private sector clients. Yasmin
SOASBA/BSc Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities with Foundation YearAt SOAS there are so many societies to join and fun events to attend even if you aren’t part of the society. I enjoy travelling and trying new places to eat around London with my friends. Central London has such a variety of restaurants and activities so you can never be bored.
