So i'm definitely aware of what its like moving and living abroad :). This is my third year in Glasgow and I have had a wonderful time here so far!. University of GlasgowMicrobiology [BSc/MSci]I am from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire where I grew up in a predominantly working-class area and family. I am the first member of my family to finish secondary school education and attend university. I initially came to Glasgow to study zoology but quickly changed to microbiology after discovering my passion for infectious diseases and lab work. I am secretary for Glasgow University Immunity & Infection Society and UofG Antimicrobials & Antimicrobial Resistance Society. I also run and act as secretary for an anti-hate crime charity in Kilmarnock called 4ward2gether which I have done since 2019. Starting university can be very daunting but don’t be nervous as so many other people are feeling the same! I will do my best to help you with any questions you may have!
