Manchester Metropolitan UniversityPhilosophyHello! I am a third year philosophy student. After graduating, I plan to train as a primary school teacher. I am currently writing my dissertation on 'Explaining witchcraft as a philosophy' and I enjoy exploring abstract ways of thinking within philosophy. Outside of studying, you will most often catch me at live gigs or at the cinema. My role as a Unibuddy is important to me as when I joined the university I was intimidated by starting a big new chapter and so feel free to ask any questions, as I'm sure I thought of them too when I was first starting out. Northeastern University LondonPhilosophy and Artificial Intelligence MAToday, I'm a PG student at NU London, studying AI & Philosophy. I go to the pub with classmates to talk philosophy, and enjoy the urban hiking of London. Next, I'll be working in AI Ethics and Transformation, helping companies deploy these breakthrough technologies smartly, safely, and sensibly. I'll also be going to the pub with coworkers to talk philosophy. Eventually, I'll be a professor in video game philosophy, coaching the rugby club, and going to the pub with peers to talk philosophy. King's College LondonPhysics and PhilosophyHey! I’m Anita, nice meeting you! As a Physics and Philosophy student, I love exploring the big questions in science and how they shape the future of technology. I’m originally from Italy and I enjoy traveling, reading, debating, and staying active. I also really enjoy trying all different types of food and cuisines - but the other interests seem more "professional" right? Outside of academics, I’m passionate about helping others, whether through volunteering, tutoring, or charity work. In the future, I hope to work in research and innovation, tackling challenges in physics and technology to make a real impact! Ellie

King's College LondonPolitics Philosophy and LawI grew up in Bristol and always knew I wanted to live in the big city! Studying Law in London is an incredible opportunity, as you're right in the heart of where it all happens. The PPL course in particular gives me a great holistic insight into the humanitarian questions around law - What is justice? How can we establish a stable democracy? - whilst granting me a comprehensive understanding of how our judicial and political institutions are currently running. Being able to finish this degree with the LLB qualification whilst studying modules which question and challenge those institutions is truly rewarding. My career prospects are certainly in Law, most likely corporate. However, as I love to sing, I would like to pursue music at some point in my life - so am considering alternative postgraduate options.
