Hi! I’m Hannah, a second-year student studying Neural Engineering with Psychology. My degree isn’t one that’s very well known but I love it. It combines Psychology, Engineering and Computer Science. In my next couple of years, I will cover areas like AI, brain computer-interfaces and neuroscience. If that sounds like your sort of thing, then definitely go check it out and feel free to ask me any questions about my experience so far. I mostly work in the CSEE department so I can answer questions about other courses as well. Outside of university I like to listen to music and I’m trying to get back into the gym. As a doctoral research scholar, my research focuses on characterizing materials using Non-Destructive Testing. I'm A PhD student, currently researching nuclear fuel material characteristics. I have completed a BSc, MSc and MScRES in computer science. I have designed a simple CPU at the digital logic level, written a Z80 simulator and an developed X-Ray teaching tool as part of my progress through education. 
I maintain and have worked on a number of open source projects.

Outside of computing, I'm a very regular gym goer, was captain of the canoe club last year (and have been white water kayaking for 8-9 years and hold a number of qualifications) and enjoy climbing. I am also a classically trained pianist and (slowly) produce electronic music with a number of synthesizers.

I'm a very friendly, sociable and approachable individual who has always tried to help other students where needed.

Hello everyone - I'm a third year MEng electronic engineering student currently on industrial placement at the DSP Centre of Excellence here at Bangor University. My industrial placement project involves research and development in automated datapoint collection for visible light positioning systems that utilizes machine learning for increased accuracy for 5G & 6G applications.

In Sept 25' I will continue my studies and once I have completed my undergraduate I aspire to become a PhD candidate at the DSP Centre to continue researching in the field of Visible Light Communications & Positioning technologies.

I moved to Scotland at the age of twenty and  can understand how diffcult it can be, but it also was the best challenge I have ever faced. I do biomedical engineering and want to focus on a combination of electronics and cell biology in the future. I came to this realization from internships and would love to give advice and help in any way I can. I am also passionate about art and crafting in any shape and form and focus a lot on perserving time for hobbies even when the university gets challenging, so we can also have a chat about that! :)

Hi there! I am a PhD Student who recently graduated from Strathclyde with a MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Applications.

I started my PhD in Design Manufacturing and Engineering Management in October and have been enjoying working on my project ‘Cognitive Biases in Conceptual Design’

In my free time, I enjoy exploring both Scotland and abroad, but particularly this beautiful country. Some of my favourite memories from Strathclyde have been the sports ball, a mountaineering trip to Glencoe, and attending fight nights. I have had so many great experiences from my time as a student here from from being a sports union volunteer to becoming a class rep.
