I studied Business, Maths, and Computer Science at A-level at my local sixth form and achieved grades of ABC. These grades were enough to get me accepted into my first choice, Lancaster University, to study accounting and finance. However I realised during my first year that Accounting and Finance wasn’t the right course for me, and I decided to move to business management, where I really enjoyed the entrepreneurship module so decided to go into 2nd year on the Business Management (entrepreneurship) course. The current career path I am exploring is business consulting; I feel it suits my personality well and it is a well established industry. During my free time, I regularly go to the gym, and play football with my friends.

Hello!! I am Finn and I am a third-year undergraduate student at Southampton Solent University studying (BSc) Accounting and Finance. I recently returned from a placement year at an aerospace firm being a finance intern. I also will become a Graduate Financial Analyst at Boeing from September. I chose to study this degree as I would like to become a Financial Analyst after I graduate. I am also part of the Badminton Society which involves league games and social events. Outside of university, there are lots of activities to do in Southampton. For me, I like the nightlife and raving scene, also enjoy watching the football at bars and chilled activities such as going swimming and late night walks! I currently live and commute from the sunny seaside town of Bournemouth Please feel free to ask me any questions about life at Solent and Southampton! 😀

Hello there, nice to meet you! My name is Fleur and I am studying European Studies at Essex. I love my course because it allows me to study a lot of different topics, such as history, politics, sustainability, philosophy, and even recently a bit of economics! While I'm not completely certain what I would like to do after leaving University, I know that I would like to contribute to making the world a better place, whether that be through working in social policy, a non-profit organisation, or an area contributing to reducing the climate crisis. Outside of university I am very interested in arts and crafts, and I love to curl up on a rainy day and crochet while listening to music, which is another hobby of mine. I love all things to do with music, playing musical instruments and listening to all different genres! I'm not incredibly sporty but I do enjoy going on walks in my beautiful hometown, along with swimming in pools and rivers (although the fish do scare me a bit). Archery is another interest of mine, and I've really enjoyed getting involved at the University Club!
