As a pharmacy student and gym enthusiast, my future plans revolve around integrating my passion for health and fitness with my pharmaceutical knowledge. I aim to specialize in sports pharmacy, focusing on supplements, performance enhancement, and injury recovery. My goal is to educate people on safe and effective medication and supplementation while promoting a balanced lifestyle. Additionally, I plan to continue my fitness journey, possibly pursuing certifications in nutrition or personal training to provide well-rounded health advice. By combining both fields, I hope to contribute to the healthcare industry in a way that supports both medical well-being and physical performance.

Hi, I'm Ahmed!

I’m a second-year BSc Accounting and Finance student at SOAS. I chose SOAS because of its unique global perspective, diverse community, and strong emphasis on understanding finance in an international and real-world context. The course is both challenging and rewarding, offering a great mix of technical skills and critical thinking.

Beyond my studies, I have a strong background in teaching and mentoring. I’ve spent the past three years leading the 11 Plus department at a tuition center, successfully guiding students through their exams. This experience has strengthened my communication and leadership skills, which I now bring into my university life.

I’m passionate about exploring the intersections of finance, business, and global development, and I hope to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in the future. Outside of academics, I enjoy engaging in student-led initiatives and networking with like-minded individuals.

Hi, my name is Aimée and I come from Switzerland. I am a fourth year Zoology student with an interest genetics, and using it to conserve the species of our planet. I chose to study at Lancaster after falling in love with the campus on an open day. Last year I completed a placement year working in the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's WildGenes genetics laboratory. At university one of my favourite things to do is discover new coffee shops around Lancaster with my friends. Besides this I can usually be found in Waterstones buying yet another book or at home playing my latest Nintendo Switch obsession!

Hi! I’m Aisha and I'm currently in my final year of my midwifery course at the University of Southampton ❤️
 
Midwifery is an incredible balance of science, compassion, and advocacy. Throughout my placements I’ve had the opportunity and privilege of supporting women and families in their pregnancy, labour, birth and their postnatal period. Every day is different, from antenatal clinics and community visits to supporting births on labour ward, the birth centre and at home.  The variety is one of the things I love most about the course.
 
The journey into midwifery can feel overwhelming at first, especially with interviews, placements, and balancing academic work with clinical hours. I remember having so many questions before I started, so I’d be happy to chat - feel free to message me, no question is too small as I’m here to help 😊
 
Midwifery is challenging, but it’s also deeply meaningful. If you’re passionate about women’s health, advocacy and making a difference at one of the most important moments in someone’s life, you’re in the right place.
