Daniel
Buckinghamshire New University
Sport and Exercise Science
Hi everyone! My name is Daniel and I am a mature student at BNU who took a few years out before university as I was unsure of what I wanted to do for my career. That time helped me realise my passion for sport and shaped my career goal of becoming a Performance Analyst within football. Studying Sport and Exercise Science at BNU has felt like the perfect first step toward that career. Now in my 3rd Year at BNU, I can confidently say that deciding to go to university and study Sport and Exercise Science is one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Football is a big part of my life! I play in a 6-aside tournament with my friends in High Wycombe, and I’m a proud supporter of Wycombe Wanderers and Chelsea FC. When I’m not watching or playing football, you’ll probably find me running. I’ve completed three marathons so far: Brighton 2022, Manchester 2023, and Southampton 2024.
I’m also involved in university life as a Student Ambassador, as well as a Student Rep for my course. I’m proud to have both of these roles at BNU as they let me support other students and allow me to help make student life even better at BNU.
Outside of sport, I love travelling wherever I can. Over the last few years I’ve started exploring Europe, visiting Prague, Dublin, Munich, Brussels, Paris, and Budapest! I’m extremely excited to tick off even more cities soon.
If you have any questions about studying at BNU, student life, the Sport and Exercise Science course, or anything at all, I’m always happy to chat!
Danielle
King's College London
Social Sciences
Hi, I’m Danielle! I’m a first-year Social Sciences student at King’s College London, and studying here has been an incredible experience so far! King’s offers the perfect mix of academic excellence and city life—one moment you’re in a lecture, and the next, you’re exploring London’s amazing food scene, cycling along the Thames, or visiting a museum just minutes from campus.
Outside of my studies, I love cycling (the best way to see the city!) and cooking Asian fusion dishes, always experimenting with new flavours. Living in London means endless opportunities to try new cuisines, meet people from all over the world, and immerse yourself in different cultures. It’s such a dynamic and inspiring place to study.
If you’re considering studying at King’s or just want to know more about student life in London, feel free to reach out—I’d love to chat and share my experience!
Dean Nathaniel
Middlesex University
BSc Computer Science
Hi, I'm Dean and I study BSc Computer Science. Ask me any questions around my subject, student life and everything Middlesex!
Truth be told, I was not always planning on working in the tech field! For the better part of two years of my life, I spent those years studying and working towards becoming a Solicitor. In the summer of my final year, my computer broke! I had no choice to fix it for I had my notes on it. I don't really remember much of it now but I just remember the amount of joy and childish fun I used to have playing around with tech. Ultimately it led me here, pursuing a job in the tech market and spending as much time I can learning and messing around with new technologies.

Emilia
King's College London
Forensic Science
Hi! I’m Emi, and I’m currently studying MSc Forensic Science at King’s College London. I’m based at the Waterloo campus, which is where I spend most of my time in lectures, labs, and mock crime scenes (definitely one of the coolest parts of the course).
I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Manchester, and during that time, I completed a year-long placement in Thailand. That experience really shaped me, both in terms of my lab skills and my love for travel and experiencing new cultures.
I’m especially interested in applying science in meaningful ways, particularly in forensic investigation, wildlife crime, and animal welfare, and I hope to work in a role that lets me combine those interests in the future.
Outside of uni, I’m very into arts and crafts, especially making jewellery. I’m also part of the art society and love winding down by watching international films. If you have any questions about King’s, forensic science, moving to London, or just uni life in general, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to help!

Esther
Bangor University
Medical Sciences
Starting medical school was both exciting and slightly overwhelming, as I fortunately received an offer through clearing. At Bangor University, I’ve learned that medicine isn’t just about studying—it’s about adapting, growing, and finding balance. While Bangor may not be the biggest city, its supportive atmosphere and hands-on learning made it a great place to begin my journey. With mountains to hike, lakes to explore, and breathtaking scenery all around, there’s always a way to escape the stress of studying. My time at Bangor has also given me the opportunity to explore nearby cities, allowing me to discover new places and fully enjoy the experience of traveling.
Outside of medicine, I stay active through athletics, enjoy cooking (and eating!), unwind with movie nights, and stay grounded through Bible study.

George

Environmental Science
Hello! I’m George a 3rd year student studying Environmental Sciemce at the University of Southampton. I have really grown as a person over my time at university, I didn’t know where I wanted to be or what I wanted to do in my life and career but I soon realised! I became really passionate in environmental management through my course and felt I would make a big difference pursuing a career in it and so I am happy to say that’s what I’ll be doing after I graduate!
When it comes to my life outside of university, I am obsessed with Formula One and cars. I take any chance I get to spend time with friends and family watching races! I also love music especially indie, in particular Wunderhorse… . I also go to the gym a lot in my spare time and enjoy keeping fit (whilst listening to music of course!).

Haleema
King's College London
Computer Science
Hi! My name's Haleema, I'm a 3rd year Computer Science MSci student at KCL. That means I'm an undergraduate student, but I'll be starting a master's year in September. I've really enjoyed the past three years at King's and I'm really actively involved in the opportunities it's offered me. I'm a student ambassador, as well as on society committees (in fact, I was just elected President of the KCL Tech society!). All of that means I have lots of experiences to talk to you about and three years of advice to offer :)
Fun facts about me are that I have a pet rabbit and that I'm (sort of) from five different countries. I'm a home student, but I grew up internationally, which means I can offer you insights from both perspectives.
