Hello everyone!

My name is Ganiu Olamilekan Durowoju, but you can call me Ola. I’m currently in my final year at Bangor University, studying Accounting and Finance. I specifically chose Bangor University because the Bangor Business School is renowned for its excellence in higher education within the UK. During my second year, I engaged in the University Business Challenge (UBC), a dynamic competition designed to enhance employability through practical business simulations. This experience developed my skills in analytics, time management, influencing, and leadership.

In the world of numbers, I feel right at home! My passion lies in data analysis and the exciting world of investment.  This led me to create investment portfolios, and I hope to build a career in this dynamic field.

My future goal is to become a finance manager!  I'm thrilled about the prospect of helping companies make profit-maximising investment decisions. To excel in this field, I'm constantly sharpening my analytical skills.

Hi, I'm Georgia and i started studying at Bangor Uni in September 2023 after completing my A-levels that summer in Maths, Biology and French! I am originally from Nottingham and i have loved the change from city life to being inbetween the beach and mountains. I am currently studying pharmacology and absolutely love my degree. I have such a passion and get so much enjoyment from studying. I plan to go into postgrad education and then hopefully into a research and development career in labs. Hello everybody! My name is Jahnavi Nair, and I am 21 years old. I am in my third year of pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance. Throughout my university career, I've developed a strong interest in the world of finance, and I intend to pursue a Master's degree in finance after graduation. My long-term goal is to become a CFA charter holder and eventually build a successful career at a top investment banking firm.

My future plan is to excel in the career I am interested in and become the best version of myself to avoid regrets in my life! I consider myself ambitious but also procrastinate like most other people (just need lil bit of motivation to help myself but we will get there! Haha!) I hope to help you out in Bangor uni or in the admission process.
As an international student, I can also possibly give you some guidance on the admission processes as far as I can. (it is quite daunting coming from another country! so don't feel lonely!)

I currently study marine biology, and plan to pursue a career in conservation. I would love to work with a rescue and rehabilitation center as a rescue coordinator and care specialist, or as a diver for conservation and restoration projects around the world.

Alongside my coursework, I’m a member of the women’s rugby union. I absolutely love my team, and all the experiences I have through them (like Wednesday night socials)! Sport and society opportunities at Bangor are phenomenal, and I’d love to tell you all about them! We also have a multitude of volunteering opportunities, with truly something for everyone. Bangor can feel quite small, but between uni-sponsored opportunities, third-party events, and living on the doorstep of Eryri, there’s no reason you can’t have a vibrant time here.
