Hi! As an international student, I intend on returning to my home country, Seychelles, to pursue a career in the legal field, after I have finished my current course. The law has always been intriguing to me and I have a similar interest in Psychology because it is such a fascinating subject, so I studied it in A-levels and I have loved it ever since. That is why I decided to study Psychology as well as Law at university level, despite only intending to enter the law profession, and I could not be happier about my decision.

My name's Leandro, and before I say anything about me, I want to say that choosing where you're gonna spend the next few years of your life is really important.
Being lucky enough to be able to choose your uni is special, and the awesome part is that you don't have to make that choice blind. I'm ready to answer all kinds of questions- from things like what lectures are like to how it feels to suddenly have so much free time, to what the culture feels like at King's, I'm here to help you as best I can!!
To be honest, I consider it a privelege to get to try help you out with thinking about your future- even if only in a small way.  I'm really excited to chat!

Anyway, some basics about me are that I'm from Switzerland-but I grew up mainly in North Africa and South East Asia. Right now, I'm in my second year at King's College London studying Liberal Arts, which basically means I'm studying English and Philosophy.
I love to climb, play video games (mostly online FPS games), read and travel.

I'm A PhD student, currently researching nuclear fuel material characteristics. I have completed a BSc, MSc and MScRES in computer science. I have designed a simple CPU at the digital logic level, written a Z80 simulator and an developed X-Ray teaching tool as part of my progress through education. 
I maintain and have worked on a number of open source projects.

Outside of computing, I'm a very regular gym goer, was captain of the canoe club last year (and have been white water kayaking for 8-9 years and hold a number of qualifications) and enjoy climbing. I am also a classically trained pianist and (slowly) produce electronic music with a number of synthesizers.

I'm a very friendly, sociable and approachable individual who has always tried to help other students where needed.
