Hi everyone! I’m a Computer Science student here at the University of Surrey. After completing A levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science, I joined Surrey through Clearing, and I’ve been incredibly happy with my experience here. Looking ahead, I hope to either secure a graduate position—ideally in the field of cybersecurity—or pursue a Master’s degree in a related specialism.

Outside of coding and algorithms, I’m a big believer in a healthy work-life balance! You’ll usually find me at the gym, playing badminton, practicing my guitar, or grinding a new video game. I also love making the most of the social side of uni life and going out with friends.

Whether you have questions about the workload of a CS degree, how to balance sports and studies, or just want to know what student life is really like at Surrey, feel free to give me a shout!

I’m Sammam Junaid Efti from Bangladesh, currently in my second year of LLB. As the President of the City St. Georges Bengali Legal Network and an Events Ambassador and Program Representative, I’m deeply involved in student leadership and community-building. My favourite areas of study are Criminal Law and Contract Law, where I love exploring the complexities of justice and legal relationships. Outside of academics, I’m an avid reader and enjoy singing whenever I get the chance; it’s a great way for me to unwind and stay creative. I'm a graphic designer first and foremost. Hello! I’m Sara, and I’ve been part of the University of Strathclyde for quite a while now. I joined for the first time in 2018, first for my Bachelor's, then for my Master's, and now as a PhD researcher in Architecture. 
I’m originally from Italy, where I studied at an art school before moving to Scotland to study architecture: a path that has allowed me to combine my passion for art, design, and the way people experience spaces.
When I’m not reading papers and working on my research, I enjoy going to parks and botanical gardens (when it’s not too rainy!), going to the cinema or theatre with friends, or even just having a relaxing day in a café reading a good book. 
Having lived in Glasgow for several years now, I’ve come to really appreciate what it has to offer, from its creative energy to its welcoming atmosphere for international students. 
If you have any questions, I’d be more than happy to share my experiences about studying and living here, as well as what it’s like to progress through undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies in architecture.

Hi there! I’m Sarah, a fourth year medical student at Brighton and Sussex medical School. I am a mature student having worked for the UK Government for the past ten year, and a graduate, completing my first degree in Medical Neuroscience here at the University of Sussex. It really feels like I have come full circle now that I am back here studying medicine!

I hope to become an obstetrician once I finish my degree, but we get so much exposure to different specialities I am also excited to explore. I enjoy yoga and cold water swimming which is great as I live by the sea for the first time!

Hi I am Sarvin! I am currently studying an MSc in Robotics at King’s and I come from a Biomedical Engineering background. I know that transitioning into robotics can feel daunting so I am more than happy to help with questions about changing fields, preparing applications, or what to expect from the course.

I chose robotics because I am really fascinated by how machines are designed and how widely they are applied in society, from healthcare and aviation to mechanics and automation. I am hoping to pursue a career as a robotics engineer in London after graduating.
